Hair & Make-up
Women
$100 – 1 look: Artist will leave immediately after Hair/Makeup is finished.
$150 – 2 look: Artist will stay through first look and style 2nd look.
$25 – Every additional look after 2.
Men
$75 – Men’s Grooming and Prep. Artist will leave after grooming is finished.
What Is A Look
A look is considered a clothing change and typically a hair and makeup change.
Plan Your Shoot
Every shoot includes a free phone consult to discuss the style and direction of the shoot. Locations, clothing, hair/makeup and lighting styles will be discussed prior to each shoot.
Preparing For Your Shoot
If you’ve made the good decision to bring a hair and makeup artist on, make sure you arrive clean, without make-up on and hair loose and without product.
Clothing
Bring simple clothing that match the style of photography work your looking to get. If you’re not sure, stick with dark, neutral tones, fitted not baggy and without logos. Come prepared by bringing variations, 3-4 tops and 2 pants per look. No whites, blacks, patterns, logos or overly saturated colors.
A professional clothing stylist is available for $400 for the day to get clothing that you need to look your best and style the outfit to perfection. If you have the budget, it will transform your photographs from a standard headshot to an editorial fashion shoot.
Going On Location
This means leaving the studio area. Going on location is a great way to change up the look of your portfolio, whether is shooting in a fancy hotel or a wooded area.
Location photography is an extra $150 if its within the chicago metro area.
Proofing
Images are approved onsite whenever possible. If not, however, the pictures will be uploaded to a non-downloadable webgallery where you can choose the images you want retouched.
